Welcome to the Virginia Dietetic Association! 
I am excited about the opportunities that this year (2010-11) brings - our licensure initiative, annual meeting in Northern Virginia, new projects and member benefits. An affiliate of the American Dietetic Association, VDA’s mission is to empower our 1200 members to be Virginia’s food and nutrition leaders. On our website you will find information on member issues, policy issues, professional development opportunities and links to nutrition resources. I hope that you will check back often for updated information.
Serving as the President of VDA, I have the distinct honor and privilege of working with an extremely talented and dynamic group of dietetic professionals. I know that working together; we will have a successful year!
